The Resistance — Sit-In Hoodie is inspired by the student sit-ins of the Civil Rights Movement — peaceful protests that challenged segregation across America.

Students and activists would sit at “whites only” lunch counters, knowing they could be humiliated, beaten, arrested, or worse, simply for asking to be served. Yet they returned again and again because they believed dignity and equality were worth the risk.

One of the most well-known protests took place at the Woolworth’s lunch counter in Greensboro, North Carolina. After months of continued sit-ins across the country, Woolworth’s eventually ended its whites-only lunch counter policy — proving that disciplined collective action can reshape culture.

The front typography transforms RESISTANCE into STANCE — a reminder that resistance is not always loud. Sometimes it’s the decision to remain grounded when fear demands that you move.
